Nursery
Infants-Preschoolers
Welcome to the Nursery at Cokes Chapel UMC! Every Sunday, we provide a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where our youngest community members (7 months-4/5 years old) can begin their faith journey. While parents participate in worship, our goal is to help every child experience God’s love in a secure and cheerful setting.
- When: Sundays at 10 AM
- Location: Worship Center
We use the Deep Blue Nursery curriculum by Cokesbury to introduce our infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to God’s love through age-appropriate, interactive play. The curriculum engages young children through multi-sensory learning—incorporating music, movement, simple crafts, and sensory play—to make core Bible concepts approachable and memorable.
Each month, children explore a focused Bible story designed to build familiar, long-term recall. To help keep parents connected, visual picture cards with home activity prompts are provided to reinforce learning throughout the week, while nursery leaders utilize structured songs and gentle prayers tailored specifically for early developmental stages.
