Children's Church

Welcome to Children’s Church at Cokes Chapel UMC! Our children’s ministry is designed to provide a safe, joyful, and engaging environment where kids can grow in their love for God, build meaningful friendships, and explore the Bible in ways that make sense to them.

• When: Every Sunday during the 10:00 AM worship service
• Where: Children start in the Main Sanctuary with their families and are then dismissed together to Children’s Church.

Our ministry uses Cokesbury’s Big Faith curriculum, a faith-formation program created specifically to help young learners experience God’s love and build a lasting spiritual foundation. Each week, children explore key Bible stories through engaging storytelling and short media clips that bring Scripture to life. Kids put their faith into practice through creative crafts, interactive games, and age-appropriate group activities designed to reinforce the weekly message. Lessons focus on central Christian values like kindness, community, trust, and service, helping children see how God’s Word applies directly to their everyday lives. Every session wraps up with guided reflection and sharing time, giving kids a supportive space to talk about what they learned, express their thoughts, and ask questions.
